WATER SOFTNER


Description:

Softener is use to water having high hardness. all water containing calcium & magnesium salt in considerable amount is called HARD WATER. When the temperature of hard water is raised, whether in a boiler or any other heating system, hardness ions precipitate and form scales on the metal surfaces due to the lower solubility of the hardness salts at higher temperatures.This hardwater will deposit a hard scale in pipes, heating coils, boiler etc resulting in waste of efficiency, fuel & money. Hardness causing salts need to be removed from the water so that problems of scaling and consequential difficulties of reduced flow cross-section, higher metal temperatures and reduced thermal efficiencies are eliminated. Softening is done by an ion exchange resin, this process uses an ion exchange resin which replaces the calcium &magnesium ions in the waste by an equivalent no of sodium ions.The treat water is call SOFT WATER.

MIX BED PLANT


Description:

This is a single column unit, filled with strongly acidic cation & Strangely basic anion exchange resin mix bed together evenly these units produced water of high quality confirming to IP specification. Determination of the purity of the treated water is normally done by measuring its conductivity. Low conductivity of conductance means high purity. Mixed bed units normally produce treated of less 1 microsiemens/cm conductivity

Description:

Multi-grade filters are used for renoval of suspended matter from raw water the media used in this filter is aspecially graded sand. (Coarse & Fine). This allows the complete utilisation of the large spaces between the particles for removal of the supended impurities.

Description:

A demineralizer plants removes total dissolved salt from the raw by an iron exchange process in this process the cation are exchange for hydrogen & anions for hydroxyl ions to give chemically pure water.
